World Earth Day

To mark and honour Earth Month, Earth Week (18-22 April) and Earth Day (Friday 22nd April) we celebrate that SBS Design & Build are a recognised Carbon Neutral Business. Last year we teamed up with Ecologi who are helping to tackle climate change by offsetting workforce’s carbon footprint. Through this scheme, we funded the planting of trees within our company forest.

SBS has knowledge and expertise with eco-builds and new building technology that are more eco-friendly including wood fibre insulation, heat pumps, triple glazing and more.

Previous developments of ours have been Eco build and included the following technologies within it:

– Air tight building reducing heating loss

– Air source heat pump

– Triple glazed windows

– Mechanical ventilation with heat recovery system

– Under floor heating

– A+ appliances

– Materials sourced from responsible/sustainable suppliers
